Mrs. Margaret Nolomondo and Mr. Nandonde G. Moses from the Ministry of Health, Tanzania attended one-week attachment training on Drug Registration in NPCB from 16 November to 21 November 1998. The Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Dr. Anis Ahmad, and NPCB Director, Mr. Leslie Teo also briefed them on the organisation and function of the Malaysian Ministry of Health and NPCB, respectively.

Three members from the Experts Division of Pharmaceutical, Drug Administration of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health were in NPCB from 16 November 1998 for one-month attachment training on GMP. They were Miss Tu Viat Lan, Mr. Do Minh Hung and Mr. Duong Xhuan An. Their training encompassed visits to pharmaceutical manufacturing factory, sterile plant and cosmetic manufacturing factory, auditing of manufacturing factory as well as licensing and evaluation of premises.
