As
a new user, you should know that there are many security measures
built into our Online Submission System. To
conduct transactions such as product registration, change
request, renewal, market sampling and online payment, you
should register your membership and purchase your User Digital
Certificate that comes in Smart Card System. Once you have
obtained and installed your Digital Certificate Smart Card
System to your Personal Computer (PC) that is Internet Ready,
then you will be able to conduct your transactions in Quest2.

To
conduct transactions in Quest2, you must conform to the following
pre-requisite:
| 1. |
Have
an Internet-Ready PC. Minimum requirement for the
PC is Intel Pentium II 400MHz, 128MB RAM, 10GB free disk
space and 56kbps Internet Connectivity. Recommended PC
requirement is Intel Pentium IV 1.8GHz or above, 256MB
RAM or above, 10GB free disk space or above and 128kbps
Internet Connectivity. |

Have
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) installed.
If you are using other versios of Internet Browser, please
go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/ie6/fefault.asp
to download the IE6.

Have
a scanner and/or digital camera installed to scan
related documents for attachments during submission of
application forms.

| 4. |
Have
at least 1 unused serial (com) port or USB port
on your PC for the connection of the Digital Smart Card
System. |
Please
read and understand the Enrollment Instruction below:

Log
on to National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau Quest2
website.

| 2. |
Click
on "Sign up now" menu to register your
membership. Please take note that the membership registration
form requires you to attach scanned images/picture (in
JPEG or GIF format) as follows:
· Your Company Registration Form with the Malaysian
R.O.C.
· Company Authorisation Letter (Official letter of
authorisation by your company for you to conduct transaction
on behalf of the company)
· Your Identity Card (front only) |
| 3. |
Select
your method of payment for the User Digital Certificate
and Smart Card System from the following:
· Online Payment using credit card
· Money Order
· Postal Order or,
· Company cheque |
| 4. |
Once you have completed your membership registration and
purchase of your User Digital Certificate and Smart Card
System, you must expect the following:
· Your password to log on to the system will be
sent to your email at the email address specified in the
membership registration form
· Your Digital Certificate and Smart Card System
will be sent/mailed to you by POSLAJU at the company
address given in the membership registration form (within
7 working days) |

Once you have installed the Smart Card System, which comprises
of Smart Card Reader and Smart Card with your Digital
Certificate ID, you are ready to conduct your transaction
in Quest2. Please follow the installation guide provided
with the delivery. In case you require any technical support
pertaining to Smart Card System installation, please contact
the telephone number(s) or the email address given in
the Installation Guide. |
